If you are a student and interested in applying to participate in the NDIP program, please see the documents below, which will provide you with in-depth information about the NDIP.

Academic Institutions: Agnes Scott College, Clark Atlanta University, Georgia State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Morehouse College, Emory University and Spelman College.

Basic qualifications for students to participate in the NDIP:

  • Be enrolled in school at one of the NDIP partner institutions.
  • Be a sophomore or greater in school, graduate and doctoral students are encouraged to apply
  • Be able to dedicate 180 hours to a project in one semester based on the scheduling needs of the project
  • Possess a commitment to community service and an interest in a community-based work experience.


  • If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in learning more about the NDIP, please read the Student Introduction to the NDIP and complete a NDIP Student Application, following the instructions on submitting an application to your academic institution.
