Being a small nonprofit organization, the Community Housing Resource Center is always working to use every dollar possible for direct program activities like home repair for a senior and assistance for someone searching for an affordable place to live. One way we do this is by using in-kind material donations to upgrade and expand our equipment. The CHRC is always interested in donations of items that will help us more efficienty do our job. Specific items that are on our "wish list" include:
Building Tools - our home repair program includes small carpentry jobs. We can always use carpentry tools that are in working order. Printing Services - As part of our information provision services, we regularly publish documents that need to be printed in mass. Also, in 2002, one of the CHRC's main organizational goals is to better promote our work. As part of that goal, we have developed a new "look" for the organization. Donated printing would be extremely valuable to our work and ability to attract additional support from the funding community. |
