Housing Information for Individuals

The CHRC provides information on a wide range of issues related to affordable housing. Our Tip Sheet Series, below, contains information on home repair, finding housing, and housing for persons with special needs. Our "Low Cost No Cost Housing Guide" contains over 700 affordable housing properties, including lists tailored to meet most standard requests. If you need information that is not provided on this Webster, please do not hesitate to contact us using the contact page.

Tip Sheet Series

The CHRC has developed a series of issue-based Tip Sheets to provide accurate and comprehensive answers to questions regarding home repair and securing housing. When we continue to recieve numerous requests for information on the same topic, we will create a new Tip Sheet to meet this need.

CHRC Affordable Housing Directory

Our Affordable Housing Directory contains information on over 450 organizations serving the state of Georgia in the area of affordable housing, including those nonprofits, governmental agencies, for profits, finance-related entities and other professionals that provide some form of service in this industry. For many housing professionals, our Directory serves as their "little black book" for work. Our annual printed Affordable Housing Directory is available for a reasonable charge. Low-cost and No-cost Housing Guide

The CHRC, in partnership with the Living Room, Inc., Alan Harris and two outstanding Emory Students, Claire Lederman and Melissa Lozano, produced an extensive listing of affordable housing properties in the Metropolitan Atlanta Five County Area.

This guide is an attempt to provide comprehensive affordable housing referral information for the metro Atlanta area. The guide includes sections on subsidized and non-subsidized affordable housing, transitional housing, shelters, and housing for persons with special needs. This version includes information from the five county Metropolitan Atlanta Area including Fulton, DeKalb, Clayton, Gwinnett and Cobb Counties. Low Cost No Cost Housing Guide
