What is the Housing Referral Guide?
This guide is an attempt to provide comprehensive affordable housing referral information for the metro Atlanta area.
The guide includes sections on subsidized and non-subsidized affordable housing, transitional housing, shelters, and housing for persons with special needs. This version includes information from the five county Metropolitan Atlanta Area including Fulton, DeKalb, Clayton, Gwinnett and Cobb Counties.

Process:
Ms. Lozano and Ms. Lederman began the project by expanding and updating information from the Living Room, Inc., Alan Harris and the CHRC on housing for low-income individuals.
From there they researched and contacted various organizations that work on behalf of the homeless and lower-income people in the metro- Atlanta area to gather additional resources.
These organizations provided their information regarding affordable housing as well as input on the final project.
Extensive research was also conducted to include a section on affordable housing for people with disabilities including those people living with HIV/AIDS, people with a mental or physical disability, and senior citizens.
If You Wish To Provide Input:
The information provided in the following lists is as thorough and as comprehensive as our time would permit,
the CHRC will be updating the database. If your organization finds any errors or would like to provide input, please email Kate Grace at the
Community Housing Resource Center at info@chrcatlanta.org.
While it is important that this list is distributed to as many people as possible, please do not modify the list, but notify the CHRC of needed changes so that everyone can access the corrected version.
It is our intent to make this information free and easily accessible. All feedback is welcome!
