The CHRC is a registered Community Design Center committed to delivering professional design services to underserved communities. The CHRC is part of a larger network of design centers known as the Association of Community Design. The Design Build Studio was launched in 2002 to add design and construction services to our organization toolbox. The Design Build Studio mission is to develop affordable sustainable housing in the metro-Atlanta area. We take projects from land acquisition, through design and construction management, all the way to sales to Atlanta’s low and middle income families. We also offer traditional services and products including fee-for-service architectural contracts, green building consultation, and home plans for sale.
