Andrea Korber, Design Studio

Personal Biography
Andrea’s interests in sustainability and community involvement are combined within the dual goals of the Community Housing Resource Center.

Her specific interest in building adaptability and reuse is currently put to work in the CHRC Design Build Studio, where she oversees sustainable, affordable housing development. Andrea studied engineering and visual arts at Dartmouth College before obtaining a Master of Architecture from Harvard University.

Before joining the CHRCshe worked at prominent national architecture firms in Boston and Atlanta, gaining experience in a broad range of projects from residential to institutional. She has taught drawing and painting courses at the Atlanta College of Art and architecture studios at Georgia Institute of Technology. She currently combines work at the CHRC Design Build Studio with studio teaching at Georgia Tech.
